2011-04-26

actually buat roti ni pun secara tak sengaja sebab mulanya nak buat pizza for dinner..actually dah lama bebenor hasya dok pestering me for a pizza tapi i yang malasnya nak buat and tak buat buat aje. tetiba last friday terasa rajin plak nak try this roti recipe after i read about it at shidah’s blog and then pastu boleh pulak dok intai rina yang asyik guna this recipe jek for her mini pizzas tu…i was thinking, mesti best and senang je recipe ni sebab rina dok asyik guna recipe ni jek for her orders tu.

so, i pun mulakanlah operasi nak membuat pizza kengkonon tapi masa tengah tunggu dough tu naik tetiba jek my other half kata tak terasa nak makan pizza pulak, nak makan kat MFM ler pulak..errr..habis tu apa nak buat dengan dough tu kan? nasib baik hasya masih nak pizza, so i proceed je with 2 mini pizzas for her (habis 2 ketul mini pizzas tu cik adik ni makan) and the rest of the dough tu i buat jek buns with macam macam fillings. ha ah i taruk je lemon curd fillings, strawberry jam, nuttela and butter jek.

006

sempat bakar buns ni before keluar and by the time nak keluar tu buns ni dah siap and tetiba orang yang takmo makan pizza tadi kata “sedapnya bau” and mintak tapau seketul sebab nak makan dalam keta… bila dah makan..dia buleh tanya pulak..”u bawak seketul je ke?” lorrrr, tadi mintak seketul kan..so i bawak je lah seketul hihihi

one lemon, two lemons, three…..

…macarons with lemon curd filling heheh :-)

007

inilah hasilnya….

004

sedap..i like it! makan ngan roti pun sedap nih

maybe next time i shud jadikan bun punya filling pun ok jugak kot..errr bun??? hmmm tunggu lah bila angin kerajinan meroti tu datang ye!

ini resepinya. macarons tu i guna resepi ni je!

source:- joy of baking

ingredients

3 large eggs

3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar

1/3 cup (80 ml) fresh lemon juice (2-3 lemons) (do not use the bottled lemon juice)

4 tablespoons (56 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 tablespoon (4 grams) finely shredded lemon zest

2011-04-201

Method

In a stainless steel bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and lemon juice until blended.

Cook, stirring constantly (to prevent it from curdling), until the mixture becomes thick (like sour cream or a hollandaise sauce) (160 degrees F or 71 degrees C). This will take approximately 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and immediately pour through a fine strainer to remove any lumps.

Cut the butter into small pieces and whisk into the mixture until the butter has melted.

Add the lemon zest and let cool. The lemon curd will continue to thicken as it cools. Cover immediately (so a skin doesn't form) and refrigerate for up to a week.

Makes 1 1/2 cups (360 ml).

Note: If you want a lighter lemon curd whip 1/2 cup (120 ml) of heavy whipping cream and fold into the lemon curd.

NoteRoom temperature lemons provide more juice. After squeezing, strain the juice to remove any pulp. Zest is the yellow, sweet-flavored outer rind of the lemon. A zester or fine grater can be used to remove the rind. Cold lemons are much easier to grate. Grate lemons just before using as the zest will lose moisture if it sits too long.

spicy spicy spicy penne salmon

memang tersaaangatlah spicy nya sampaikan terasa bibirku seksi macam bibir angelina jolie ler pulak hahaha :-D

017

sebenarnya masih ada leftover roasted salmon dinner 2 hari lepas tu. nak buang macam sayang, so seperti biasa mesti di recycle kan! asalnya nak buat lunch for me jek tapi biasa lah bila tengah hari tu memang takde mood langsung nak singgah kat dapur tu..sudahnya itu yang i bawak menu ni ke dinner aje lah…

i think dalam banyak banyak pasta, i paling suka makan penne sebab ntah lah..i rasa tekak i suka penne ni sebab dia yang macam boleh je absorb apa je spices yang dimasak together with it..eh, itu kata tekak i lah ye! my other half suka vermicelli jek and hasya pulak suka segala jenis mak nenek makcik pakcik pastu tuh, bagi jek apa lenis pasta kat dia memang dia suka and memang dia tak tolak lah ;-)

018

hokkay, here’s the recipe…basically macam yang i slalu masak kat sini and sini je cuma tukar2 sikit jek ;-)

BAHAN BAHAN

penne (ikut suka banyak mana nak) di rebus sehingga lembut – boleh juga guna farfalle, fussili or macaroni or spaghetti

1/2 biji bawang besar – di potong dadu kecil kecil

1 biji bawang putih – di potong dadu kecil

1 biji green capsicum di potong serong (beli yg ijo jek sbb yg tu murah hahaha)

10 biji cili api (patut la pedas ke telinga) di tumbuk tapi jangan sampai lumat, cukup sekadar 2-3 kali ketuk je

beberapa biji olives – i suka banyak

1/2 ketul grilled salmon carik carikkan kecik kecik – cara nak grill – sapukan lemon juice, pepper n salt n bakar je dlm oven selama 15 minit pada suhu 200 C or boleh je guna tuna flakes in can

pepper – i pakai ground pepper je

sedikit olive oil untuk menumis (dlm 2 – 3 tbsp )

garam secukup rasa

sedikit grated parmesan cheese untuk di tabur nanti

CARA CARA

panaskan olive oil

tumiskan bawang putih, bawang merah dan cili api sehingga naik bau

kemudian masukkan salmon, kacau sehingga salmon agak garing

then masukkan capsicum, garam, pepper (i pakai ground pepper dlm botol tu, cukup 2-3 kali shake je) serta penne tadi

kacau kejap biar sebati and then tutup api…

masukkan dalam pinggan dan taburkan parmeesan cheese dan sedia untuk di hidangkan!

2011-04-20

eh, tetiba i wonder…kalau masak macam gini the other half boleh pulak makan salmon tu…hmmm agaknya dia tkleh makan salmon sebijik sebijun kot…kena hancur hancurkan macam ni kot baru sedap kat tekak dia :-PP

fresh from my wok :-) kepok lekor celup tepung

2011-04-10

goreng aje..kepok tu beli siap hahaha :-D

beli kepok lekor ni masa balik kemaman itu hari. beli kat tepi jalan je tapi rasanya kepok ni femes gak sebab ramai yang singgah membelinya. sizuka pun tau kedai kepok lekor ni. kedai kepok ni betul betul tepi jalan ke kuantan/KL tu, if you from kemaman and heading to kuantan/KL, just tengok your left side and u’ll see this kedai kedai kepok right after pintu gerbang and shell petrol station. nama kedai ni keropok delima.

 007

pada yang belum pernah merasa camner rasanya makan kepok bersalut tepung ni cuba lah buat ye! hahaha kalau nak tahu i pun belajar makan kepok macam gini pun lepas kawin ngan org kemaman nih :D

005

nak goreng kepok ni senang je…buat je campuran bancuhan tepung gandum, tepung beras, garam, kapur and air macam nak buat goreng pisang tu and goreng je lah..kenapa main tulis macam tu je? sebabnya saya dah lupa sukatan dia hahaha…tiap kali goreng kepok ni, main agaks agaks je :D

cuba lah ye! nanti u’ll surely notice the difference between kepok goreng macam tu je ngan kepok goreng celup tepung ni… this one lagi lembut texture kepok dia…tapi kalau tanya saya, saya suka yg goreng biasa tu jek :-)
