Bahan bahan

6 apples (saya guna 8 biji granny smith green apples)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
5 tablespoons sugar

2 3/4 cups flour, sifted
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable oil (saya guna canola oil)
2 cups sugar (saya guna 1 3/4 cawan sahaja)
1/4 cup orange juice (saya guna mango juice Winking smile)
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional- saya tak taruk..lupa daaa)

cara cara

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C) . Grease a tube pan. Peel, core and chop apples into chunks. Toss with cinnamon and sugar and set aside.

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together oil, orange juice, sugar and vanilla. Mix wet ingredients into the dry ones, then add eggs, one at a time. Scrape down the bowl to ensure all ingredients are incorporated.

Pour half of batter into prepared pan. Spread half of apples over it. Pour the remaining batter over the apples and arrange the remaining apples on top. Bake for about 1 1/2 hours, or until a tester comes out clean.

  2. Hi Zarin,

How are you doing and how is Hasya doing? Is she still scared of going to school?

Btw, how much do you pay your PT helper per hour? I paid mine RM50 per 3 hour + pick up and send off + food must be provided for her.

    2. Hi Zarin,

Glad to hear that abt Hasya :)

Lucky you have a good helper. Mine used to come only 9am to 12noon, and that cost me 50RM. Mine is indonesian, but has some permit her husband's contractor firm issued her. So basically, something like having illegal permit, yet demand so much.

I stopped her recently and just doing my own housework till i get another one.
