I don’t like oats!!
although i know, oat sangatlah bagus for our health kan!
but my throat ni susah sungguh nak terima (i’m not like my abah who can simply eat that everyday)
kalau i makan oats pun, i kena make sure ada banyak strawberries and bananas kat dalam tuh
if not, mana boleh terima hihihi..
but then if oat cookies or oat muffins, i suka pulak :-D
i made these muffins for breakfast this morning
sekejap sangat buatnya, u only need 10 minutes preparation and another 20 minutes for baking. so, all in all only 30 minutes of work and taraaa u can have muffins fresh from the oven for breakfast :-)
okay, here’s the recipe
* 225 gm flour
* 200 gm brown sugar
* 1 tbsp baking powder
* 1 tsp cinnamon powder
* 80 gm oats
* 1/2 tsp salt
note * is the dry ingredients
450 ml buttermilk ( i substitute with 1 tbsp of lemon juice and a cup of fresh milk – mixed it together and leave for 5 minutes before used it)
2 lightly beaten eggs
175 ml vegetable oil
175 gm raisins
preheat the oven to 180 degree
in a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together
in a mixer, beat the buttermilk, eggs and oil until well combined
then add the dry ingredients and stir until almost blended
lastly, fold in the raisins.
then spoon the mixture into the muffin cup.
bake for 20 minutes
voila! finito and the muffins are ready to go into your mouth :D
it was said that these hearty muffins will make a great start to the day and you won’t feel hungry until lunch time…well, its true coz i didn’t feel hungry at all..hihi btw, i had 4 muffins for breakfast okay ;-)
make sure the muffins are cooled enough before u eat them ;)
these muffins are best eaten like that or you may eat them with cream cheese
