of late memang buntu nak makan apa..yesterday pun asyik bukak tutup bukak tutup fridge je and last last i ended up with making chicken and mushroom lasagne for myself and fried chicken for him and our little one…huh sungguh rajin itu perempuan ye! sila ambil bakul dan muntah ye!
okay here’s the recipe ye! (tk boleh ckp byk..pickle pie nak guna computer lerrr)
ingredients
lasagne sheets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 can of sliced mushrooms
chicken breast (satu genggam dah enough but if u want more, sila tambah lagi)
1 can of tomato puree
1 tsp salt
for Creme sauce – ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups of fresh milk
1 egg, beaten
cheddar cheese, grated
salt and pepper
method
heat the oil in the pan, add onion and garlic
then add the chicken and mushrooms and stir fry until the chicken is brown
then add the tomato puree and add 1/2 can of water (use the tomato puree’s can)
add the salt and cook for a few minutes until the chicken is tender and the sauce is thickened. siap!
then in different pan, melt the butter and stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes
remove the pan from the heat and add the milk. then return the pan back to the heat and bring it to boil, stir until the creme sauce is thickened.
leave to cool slightly and add the egg and salt and pepper and a little bit of the cheese
then place the lasagne sheets in the casserole dish and cover it with the chicken sauce and another lasagne sheets and creme sauce and repeat this steps until the last layers is covered with the creme sauce. then sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top of the cream
bake in the preheated oven at 190 degree for 30 minutes or until it becomes brown
