salam ramadhan to all muslimin dan muslimat semua. hari ni first day kita berpuasa and patutnya petang semalam masak lah sedap sedap kan! tapi i ni pulak boleh terlupa yang tadi pagi nak kena besahur and i just made baked curry puff and nachos je for dinner. teruk sungguh kan!
then tadi pagi we had sambal sardin and telur dadar je :)
hmmm nasib baik i ni memang berselera makan sahur tak kira lah makan apa pun waktu sahur tu i memang boleh makan je and my other half pulak boleh je makan apa saja without any feelings pepagi buta tu :-)
and at this moment pulak, kepala dah dok pikir nak masak apa lah pulak untuk iftar nanti ye! hasishhh belum pun separuh hari puasa dah pikir nak makan untuk berbuka pulak ye!
anyway, i baked this sour cream chocolate cake petang semalam…dah lama teringin nak try cake ni and resultnya memang sungguh tidak menghampakan…sungguh deliciousss!
okay, here’s the recipe…i took this recipe from alex goh
ingredients
A
250g butter
230g sugar ( i used 195 g)
1/4 tsp essence vanilla
B
4 eggs
C
150 g sour cream ( i used yogurt natural)
D
1 tbsp instant coffee ( i used cappucino)
2 tbsp boiling water
100g dark chocolate chopped ( i used chocolate chips)
E
300g flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
** almond flakes for topping
method
cream A until light and fluffy, Add in B and cream until smooth and light
Add in C and then D. mix until well blended
lastly add in sieved E and mix until well incorporated
pour in batter in the baking pan and sprinkle some almond flakes on top and bake at 180C for about 45 minutes.
